Just a quick heads up that I'll be on the Shaun OMac podcast tonight, talking TV. It's out of Las Vegas so I won't be on until 11pm Eastern, but if you're awake and want to listen to something before watching Letterman, check it out:

The Saddest Song You've Never Heard

As I get older, lists like this become more and more ridiculous to me. It's the 25 Saddest Songs In The Whole World. It's especially silly when there's no doubt, no question, that the saddest song ever recorded is "Song For A Dead Friend," by Kevin Gilbert. He cowrote many of Sheryl Crow's hits, and then she screwed him and everyone else over. He died young, unfortunately, but he was a truly talented guy. The song is about the suicide of his good friend, and it's off the brilliant album Thud. Buy it right now if you can. You'll thank me later.
