Here's The Pitch: It's War of the World Meets The Blair Witch Project

Hmmm...what is this mysterious movie that J.J. Abrams is producing? The trailer (quality isn't that great because someone filmed it off the screen in a theater - watch it before it's taken down) is showing before Transformers. It looks like War of the Worlds, only filmed with hand-held cameras. Looks rather scary, actually. 

Here's the IMDB page for it, and the official site, which tells us nothing so far. Damn you Abrams!

Update: The code name for the movie is either Cloverfield or The Parasite. CNBC did a story about it.
