About Bob Sassone
Bob Sassone is the editor of the critically-acclaimed web magazine Professor Barnhardt's Journal and a writer for several AOL/Weblogs, Inc sites, including TV Squad, Slashfood, and Adjab. His book Book, With Words and Pages, a collection of humor essays in a box, was released in August 2003.
A former columnist for North Shore Magazine and Cape Ann Weekly, he was also a section editor at Tripod.com and iUniverse.com. He has written about media and pop culture for several publications, including Salon,The Huffington Post, Esquire, McSweeney's, The Boston Herald, The Black Table, Ironminds, Compuserve, and other publications and sites. He was the creator and editor of the music magazine RPM (1990-92) and the television newsletter Channel Surfer Journal (1995-2000). He has been featured in USA Today, The Boston Herald, and Yahoo and has been a commentator on MSNBC and PBS.
He currently resides near Boston, MA, where he is working on his next book.
