Russia has decided to replace the U.S. ambassador, writes Kommersant daily. Yuri Ushakov, who represents Moscow in Washington in January 1999, was a few days at home. The newspaper quoted, it will become deputy chief of the government, Sergei Sobianin, and will be responsible for international activities of the cabinet.
Ushakov's appointment as his deputy has been confirmed for Kommersant Sobianin three independent sources of power inside: two from government and one of the Kremlin administration. Name the new ambassador is yet unknown.
